The Institute of Internal Auditors has long established sound auditing standards for internal audit functions to follow.  However, it is still rather subjective in measuring how effective an internal audit function is.  The trainer will apply his decades of internal audit experience to a framework which make internal audit activities largely measurable in ways that make sense.
